role of Homoeopathy in combating Heart Disorders with a holistic approach. He
said that such diseases have become the epidemic of 21st century. Heart disease
and stroke are the world’s largest killers, claiming 17.5 million lives a year.
Eighty per cent of the victims are from low- and middle-income groups. The good
news is that heart disease is preventable with constitutional Homoeopathic
management and that simple, affordable steps that can be taken to reduce the
major risk factors. Controlling these risk factors helps the heart to age more
slowly and dramatically reduces the risk of heart disease. He exhorted the
audience to ask themselves as to why, inspite of increasing modernization are
Indians still getting SICK. He also gave an overview about the action of Vital
Force and how the homoeopathic medicines act upon the disordered Vital Force and
bring about the changes that can be appreciated both at functional level as well
as in investigations. The theme for the World Heart Day is "Know Your Risk!"
The numerous questions that followed the lecture covered a wide array of
subjects ranging from misconceptions of Homoeopathy to its role in autoimmune
diseases, Diabetes, placebo therapy, not writing of prescriptions by homoeopaths
and patents. On this occasion, a Pharmacy Exhibition of Raw materials from which
