A Case of Malaria Parasite Infection Cured by Homoeopathy

A Case of Female lady aged 30/-f suffering from Intermittent fever since 31/03/2008 with bodyachae, back pain, post nasal drip, throat pain especially of right side, Dullness, heaviness of head, Headachae worse at night, evening rise of temperature, roughness in throat, thirstless since change of weather. Symptoms are worse from evening, More at night, Headachae worse at night, bony pain.

I have tried Dulcamara, Bryonia, Gelsemium without any satisfactory results. Even I have tried Pyrogen also but no satisfaction.

Patient is having frontal headachae of both side, frequent thirst, saching in extrimities, throat pain, rattling cough. On the basis of these symptoms I have tried Arsenic Album 30 which shown more relief as compared to previous remedies prescribed by me. But even after prescribing Arsenic Album night aggravation of headachae & evening rise of temperature was present.

So repeatedly evening rise of temperature, hedachae worse at night during fever given clues for me to go for Blood Investigation for Malaria.

Parasite detected (Schizonts of P. Vivis)

Haemogram:

WBC: 11,400/ cum

Poly: 61 %, Lymph: 27 %, Eos: 3 %, Monocyte: 09 %, Basophill: 00 %

Platelet: 2,47000 / cum

ESR: 38

Remarks: Micro + Hypo Anaemia

So on the basis of present history & lab investigation report

Rx

Eupatorium 200

4 pills 2-3 times a day was prescribed

Follow Up 11/04/2008

Improvement.

Only Slight weakness.

Malaria Test: Negative
