On the occasion of
completion of ‘200 years of Homoeopathy in India’, Research Society of
Homoeopathy organised ‘18th National Homoeopathic Conference” in the holy city
of Jammu at Gen. Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. State Jammu &
Kashmir hosted for the first time any National level Homoeopathic Conference
which was attended by more than 700 Homoeopathic Physicians, Teachers,
Researchers and Students.
During the inaugural ceremony Ex-Deputy CM Jammu & Kashmir Shri Mangat Ram
Sharma, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Cooperative, Printing, Stationary
and Elections, Finance, Planning, I &C, Higher Education, S & T and Information
Technology Jammu & Kashmir State Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Dr. Ram Jee Singh,
President, CCH, Dr. Arun Bhasme, Vice President, CCH, Secretary Dr. Lalit Verma,
Chairman Research Society of Homoeopathy Dr. C. P. Singh, Secretary and member
CCH Dr. Anurudh Verma and Coordinator Dr. S. D. Sharma were present on the
rostrum.
The conference was inaugurated by Ex-Deputy CM Jammu & Kashmir State, Shri
Mangat Ram Sharma by lighting the deep and garlanding the portrait of Dr.
Hahnemann, followed by Saraswati Vandana. On this occasion Shri Mangat Ram
Sharma said as Homoeopathy is cost effective and within the reach of major
population so should be promoted in this state.
Chief guest Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma in his speech requested Homoeopathic
Physicians to be first to believe in this system for a patient to believe in
Homoeopathy, he forced on the necessity of new researches in Homoeopathy so that
it could stand parallel to the modern system of medicine, he assured to convey
the message to Honourable Health Minister Govt. of India Mr. Gulam Nabi Azaad
for the estimated 25 bed Homoeopathic Hospital in Jammu and Kashmir, he also
supported the need of a Homoeopathic Medical Collage in Jammu and Kashmir, he
conferred Dr. B. D. Patel of Bangalore and Dr. S. Praveen of Hyderabad for their
outstanding contribution in the field of Homoeopathy and also released the
souvenir.
Dr. Ram Jee Singh, President, Central Council of Homoeopathy, stated that CCH is
trying its utmost efforts to maintain the quality of Homoeopathic education all
over the country; he was also worried of the slow progress of Homoeopathy in
Jammu and Kashmir and advised to take benefits of the various central Govt.
programmes. Dr. Arun Bhasme, Vice President, CCH ranked India as 1st in the
Homoeopathic world. Chairman Research Society of Homoeopathy Dr. C. P. Singh
stated his views on the development of Homoeopathy in India and revealed its
necessity in public welfare. Secretary Research Society of Homoeopathy and
member CCH Dr. Anurudh Verma said Jammu and Kashmir is much backward in the
field of Homoeopathy compared to other states of the country, he also warned
against the propaganda of the multi-national drug companies and advocated to
increase the share of Homoeopathy in National Health programmes, to avail
internship allowance to the interns of private Homoeopathic Medical Collages, to
provide loan facility to the new Homoeopathic Physicians, to start more
Homoeopathic Hospitals in rural areas, to withdraw three and half year course of
V.R.H.C., increase the rate of appointment under the scheme of N.R.H.M., to open
Homoeopathic Medical collage in Jammu and Kashmir, to open Homoeopathic
dispensaries at Nagar Nigam and universities of the Jammu and Kashmir. Shri
Ravindra Gupta Mayor of Jammu Nagar Nigam assured the appointment of
Homoeopathic Physician in Nagar Nigam dispensaries. Organising Chairman Dr. B.R.
Dubb requested the J&K Govt to promote Homoeopathy in the state and welcomed all
guests. Dr. S.D.Sharma Coordinator thanked Research Society of Homoeopathy for
organising Conference in Jammu.
On the first day of 1st Scientific Session of the conference Dr. S. Praveen from
J.S.P.S. Homoeopathic Medical College Hyderabad, presented the case of a patient
admitted in ICU suffering from Swine Flu and cured by Homoeopathic medicine
Arsenic, he also suggested Arsenic as prophylactic for Swine flu. The session
was chaired by Dr. Ravindra Kocher of Ludhiana.
In the second Scientific Session Dr.Sayeed Tanveer Hussain of Punjab presented
the case of a patient having many complications. In the same session president
Tamil Nadu Homoeopathic Medical Board and Editor Homoeo-Times Dr. R.
Gnanasambaudam presented Research Paper on the successful treatment of various
type of cancer patients. Dr. Aurna Praveen of Hyderabad presented her research
paper entitled Is Similimum an Enigma. Dr. Agam Sharma of Jaipur presented his
paper Comparative Study of Homoeopathic treatment and other mode of Treatment in
wounds, and showed how it is cost effective. Dr. Pawan Pareekh of Agra (U.P.)
presented his paper on Homoeopathic Treatment of Advance Nephro-Urological
Diseases. In the same session ex-Principal State Homoeopathic Medical collage
Bangalore, Dr. B.D.Patel in his lecture give the tips for successful prescribing
including proper case taking, examinations and necessary tests, he presented a
case of Tubercular Abscess and Fistula-in-ano. The session was chaired by Dr.
H.L. Swamy of Bangalore.
Cultural events was organised by Jackson Group after the end of second
Scientific Session and the Chief guest was ex-MP Shri Janak Raj Gupta.
On the second day of conference in the first scientific session Dr. Ramesh
Srivastava of Raibarely presented a case of Aplastic Anaemia treated with
Homoeopathic Medicines. Dr. Prabhat Srivastava also from Raibarely presented a
paper on Infertility and Homoeopathy. Dr Anand Kumar Chaturvedi Principal State
Homoeopathic Medical Collage Azamgarh, U.P. presented a study on Allergic
Rhinitis and its Homoeopathic treatment. Dr. Anita Sharma from CCRH, New Delhi,
presented a paper entitled Study of Distress during Climatric years and its
Homoeopathic management. Dr. Dhiraj Nanda from Hyderabad presented his paper on
Homoeopathy for Viral Hepatitis and insisted on keen observation. All the cases
presented were evidenced by laboratory investigations. Prof. Shree Pad Hegde
Principal Govt. Homoeopathic Collage Bangalore presented his paper on the role
of Homoeopathy in ADHD Child and advised to reward such children on doing some
good rather than to punish for wrong and insisted on do’s rather than dont’s.
Paper on renal Stones and their Homoeopathic removal was presented by Dr.
H.L.Swami of Bangalore. The session was chaired by Dr. B.D.Patel.
In the second Scientific Session, Dr. Pawan S. Chandak from Maharashtra,
presented a case of a HIV positive child having a Giant Mollasecum successfully
treated by Homoeopathy. Dr R.K.Sharma of Moradabad (U.P.) delivered his lecture
on English Hindi Dictionary of Mind Rubrics. Dr. Mohan Singh from Lucknow (U.P.)
presented his paper on Chronic Renal Failure treated with Homoeopathy and
established first time the Pharmaco-Dynamics of Homoeopathy with Stem Cell
Theory and said Homoeopathic medicine is actually the password to stimulate the
stem cells. Dr. A.K.Gupta from HDRI Lucknow presented his paper on Renal Stone
and its Homoeopathic treatment. Dr. A.K.Vichitra, CRI (Homoeo) Noida, introduced
in detail about the Research activities and achievements of CCRH. Homoeopathy is
actually derived from the ancient Indian system of medicine Ayurveda, it was
proved by Dr. R.A.Patel from Ahamdabad, he compared beautifully the Homoeopathic
Psora, Sycosis and Syphilis with the Ayurvedic Vat, Pitta and Kuf sidhanta.
On the completion of second Scientific Session memento were given to the
participants and guests with thanks from Chairman RSH Dr. C.P.Singh ,Secretary
RSH Dr. Anurudh Verma, Org. chairman Dr. B.R.Dubb, co-ordinator Dr. S.D.Sharma,
At the conference site stalls of Medicines, Homoeopathic software, books, and
magazines were exhibited by various companies.
Research Society of Homoeopathy again maintained its specificity in organising
clean, informative and interactive national level conference, and according to
the participants the seminar was declared very successful in achieving its goal
and will help to propagate and popularize Homoeopathy in the state Jammu and
Kashmir where it is still in infancy.
