Treating the whole patient, not just the disease

In homoeopathy, treatment addresses the patient's complete physical and mental state rather than an isolated symptom. The practice focuses on chronic and obstinate conditions; it does not treat cases needing hospital-based or critical care, such as heart disease, shock or surgical emergencies.
